Lily Lorenzo [small groups coor.]

Lily has been attending Crossover since she was 19. She moved to Tampa in 2000, after graduating high school and has been at Crossover ever since. Lily has worked in business settings and sales in Tampa. Prior to being on staff Lily worked for an international mortgage company and had a specialty of working with clients in their finances, home loan needs and specialized in foreclosure proceedings.

Lily was born in Brooklyn New York and moved to Orlando when she was 8 years old. Growing up around hip-hop she was accustomed to the culture. She grew up in Orlando with both parents in the home. Growing up was tough in a family of six where income was never enough to catch up with the bills. Her parents always made sure to try and give her the best life; however through alcoholism in the home things were not always easy. Through high school Lily worked two jobs to try and help with the household expenses. After her father accepted Christ and gave up alcohol, Lily was inspired to build her own relationship with Christ in order to battle her own struggles. After accepting Christ Lily moved to Tampa to go to school and become part of the Crossover family. She went to The University of Phoenix where she recently graduated with Bachelors in Business Management.

Lily has been a part of the Flavor Fest planning team since 2000 and is now assisting Flavor Fest through administration, grant writing and conference planning in order to further fulfill the mission. Several years ago Lily hosted her first small group by the pool of her apartment complex with some friends. Her love for seeing people grow in the word and get connected in relationships has led her to become Crossover's small group director where she oversees all the groups and facilitates a coed singles group. You can normally catch Lily on the patio cooking up some good food for fundraising!
